Is Cedar Point Open Today? What the Calendar Says in November

The short answer for a visit this month is no. The park runs a seasonal calendar, and the calendar we opened on November 3, 2026 had no open date in the whole stretch between November and the spring.

Cedar Point does not post a table of weekly hours. It posts a date picker. Each day of the month is a button, and a day the park is closed cannot be selected. For November 2026 the Park line of the day panel read Closed, and the Waterpark line read Closed beside it. December 2026 through April 2027 had no open days at all.

That is why a search for cedar point hours today gives a different answer in July than it does now. The calendar is the only source that matters for a specific date, and a stored weekly schedule would be misleading for a park that opens for only part of the year.

• June and July 2027: every day we looked at was open.

When Does Cedar Point Open in 2027? Opening Day and the First Dates

The first open date on the 2027 calendar was Saturday, May 1, 2027. The calendar labelled it Opening Day as an all-day event and listed park hours of 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Anyone planning for the opening weekend can read the entry for Sunday, May 2 and Monday, May 3 as well, since both were selectable.

These are the nine dates we opened, not a full season schedule. The calendar can change before the season starts, so use it again closer to your trip.

Cedar Point Hours in May 2027: Which Days Are Open?

May is the month that looks least like summer. Most of the month can be selected, but not every day. On the calendar we read, the open dates in May 2027 were the 1st to 3rd, 6th to 10th, 13th to 17th and 20th to 30th. The days left out were May 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19 and 31.

The pattern in the first three weeks is a park that skips Tuesday and Wednesday. From May 20 the calendar ran eleven open days in a row. The one hours entry we read in this month beyond Opening Day was Saturday, May 15, which matched Opening Day at 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Cedar Point Summer Hours: June and July 2027 Opening and Closing Times

In June and July 2027 every day we looked at was selectable, and the opening time stayed at 10:00 AM. What moved was the closing time. The earliest close among the summer dates was 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 1, and the latest was 11:00 PM on Sunday, July 4 and Saturday, July 31.

A Friday and a Saturday in June show 10:00 PM closes, which is two hours later than the opening-weekend close. A Tuesday at the start of June closed at 8:00 PM, so a weekday is not automatically the shorter day in this park's calendar, and the weekend is not automatically the longest. Judge each date on its own entry.

What Time Does Cedar Point Close, and Does It Ever Stay Open Until 11 PM?

Yes, on two of the dates we read. July 4, 2027 and July 31, 2027 both showed park hours ending at 11:00 PM. Four other dates ended at 10:00 PM (June 4, June 19, July 1 and July 15) and the three earliest dates in the season, May 1, May 15 and June 1, ended at 8:00 PM.

• 10:00 PM close: June 4, June 19, July 1 and July 15, 2027.
• 11:00 PM close: July 4 and July 31, 2027.
• Opening time on every date we read: 10:00 AM.

A park-hours line on the calendar covers the park itself. It does not tell you when each ride or attraction stops loading, and we have no verified information on those times, so look at the day panel for the date you are visiting before you build an evening plan.

Is Cedar Point Open in November, December or Winter?

Not on the dates we read. The park line was closed for November 2026, and the calendar had no open day anywhere from December 2026 through April 2027. That covers Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day 2027 and Easter Sunday 2027.

We looked at November in detail and then checked for the first open date, so we cannot say what the calendar showed for October 2026. If you are searching for fall events, do not assume anything from this page, and open the October dates on the park calendar yourself.

Cedar Point July 4th, Memorial Day and Labor Day Hours

The only summer holiday we have a verified entry for is Independence Day. On Sunday, July 4, 2027 the calendar listed park hours from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM, which was one of the two latest closes in the data we read. The other late close, July 31, was an ordinary Saturday.

For Memorial Day and Labor Day we do not have a holiday schedule. The calendar did not carry a standing holiday policy, and we did not read the September 2027 dates at all, so Labor Day 2027 is simply unchecked here.

Cedar Point Waterpark Hours: Is Cedar Point Shores Open?

We cannot give waterpark hours. The day panel has a separate Waterpark line, and on every date we read, including the June and July 2027 dates, that line said Closed. A season that is not yet scheduled would look the same on the calendar, so the line is not proof that the waterpark stays shut all summer.

Cedar Point also appears in the Six Flags list of parks on the select-a-park page, which is why the calendar looks the same as the ones for other properties on that site.
