Five Below Hours: Today’s Open & Close Times, Holiday & Sunday Hours

Five Below Hours Today: 10 AM to 9 PM at Most Stores

Five Below publishes weekly hours on a page for each store. We sampled stores in ten states plus Philadelphia's Market Street location.

Five Below is unusually consistent for a chain with more than 2,000 stores. A store in a Detroit strip center and one on Orlando's International Drive tourist corridor keep identical hours, and the weekly schedule has no late Friday or early Saturday variation at all.

Shopping-center type made no difference in our sample either. The Perimeter Point store in Atlanta, the Easton Market store in Columbus and the Gateway Drive store in Brooklyn all sit in large retail centers, and all three post the same 10-to-9 week with a 10-to-8 Sunday as the other stores we read.

What Time Does Five Below Open?

Five Below opens at 10:00 AM every day of the week at the stores we checked, Sunday included. That is later than discount chains such as Dollar General or Walmart, which open at 8:00 AM or earlier, so an early-morning errand needs a different store.

The one store that differed, at 701 Market Street in Center City Philadelphia, also opens at 10:00 AM on weekdays but waits until 11:00 AM on Sunday.

What Time Does Five Below Close?

The usual closing time is 9:00 PM Monday through Saturday and 8:00 PM on Sunday. Downtown stores can close earlier: the Philadelphia Market Street store closes at 7:00 PM on weekdays and 6:00 PM on Sunday.

Five Below Sunday Hours

Sunday hours run 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at ten of the eleven stores in our sample, one hour shorter than the rest of the week. Five Below opens at the same time on Sunday as on weekdays, which makes Sunday morning a reasonable time for party-supply or birthday-gift runs.

Five Below Halloween Hours

Halloween is one of Five Below's biggest seasons. In October 2026 its store pages lead with costumes, candy, spooky decor and party supplies. Halloween itself falls on Saturday, October 31, 2026, and the store pages showed no special hours for it, so expect the regular Saturday schedule of 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Last-minute costume and candy shopping tends to bunch into the final afternoon before trick-or-treating starts. With most stores closing at 9:00 PM, a Friday evening visit on October 30 or an early Saturday visit gives you more choice of sizes and themes.

Five Below Holiday Hours: Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Christmas

Five Below does not post a national holiday schedule, and its store pages did not show any 2026 holiday hours when we checked in October. The support help center, where policies would normally live, was not available to us.

For Thanksgiving (November 26, 2026), Black Friday (November 27), Christmas Eve (December 24) and Christmas Day (December 25), call your store or look at its page a few days ahead. We will add official holiday times here if Five Below publishes them.

Five Below In-Store Pickup and Same-Day Delivery

• Buy online, pick up in store: listed as a service on every store page we read.
• Same-day delivery: also listed on the store pages, as an alternative to visiting during store hours.
• Helium-inflated balloons: listed as a store service, so balloons are filled at the counter while the store is open.

Because pickup orders are collected inside the store, the 9:00 PM weekday close and 8:00 PM Sunday close are also the pickup deadlines.

What You Can Buy at Five Below During Store Hours

Five Below describes its stores as aimed at tweens, teens and beyond, with most items priced from $1 to $5 and a smaller range of products that cost more than $5. Merchandise is grouped into eight worlds: Tech, Style, Room, Play, Create, Party, Candy, and New & Now.

Every department sits on the same sales floor and keeps the same hours, so there is no separate counter to beat before closing. The only exception is balloon filling, which needs a staff member at the counter, so ask for balloons a little before the 9:00 PM close.

How Many Five Below Stores Are There?

Five Below, founded in 2002 and based in Philadelphia, says it has more than 2,000 stores in 47 states. Its investor site lists a figure of more than 1,900 stores for fiscal 2025; both numbers appear on the same site, so treat 2,000 as a round current figure.

Every store has a page in the Five Below locator, organized by state and city, with its address, phone number and weekly hours.
