Texas Roadhouse Hours Today: The Most Common Schedule
We read the hours block on 41 US restaurant pages spread across texasroadhouse.com's location list on October 25, 2026. Seventeen of them used exactly the schedule below.
The other 24 restaurants differ in one or two places rather than across the board. Some open at 4 PM instead of 3 PM on weeknights, some wait until 3 or 4 PM on Friday too, a handful open at 10:30 or 11:30 AM on weekends, and four close Sunday at 9 or 9:30 PM. Nearly all of them still close at 10 PM Monday to Thursday and 11 PM on Friday and Saturday.
Does Texas Roadhouse Open for Lunch on Weekdays?
At most locations, no. Thirty-seven of the 41 restaurants we checked opened at 3:00 PM or later on Monday: 29 at 3 PM, seven at 4 PM and one at 3:30 PM. Only four served a weekday lunch: the original restaurant in Clarksville, Indiana, plus Montgomery, Alabama, Parkersburg, West Virginia and Milton, Florida.

Friday is the swing day. Twenty-five of the 41 opened at 11 AM on Friday, so a Friday lunch is usually possible, but ten waited until 3, 3:30 or 4 PM. Saturday and Sunday are the reliable lunch days: 34 restaurants opened at 11 AM on Saturday and 32 at 11 AM on Sunday, and the rest opened between 10:30 AM and noon.

What Time Does Texas Roadhouse Close?
Plan on 10 PM from Sunday to Thursday and 11 PM on Friday and Saturday. Those closing times held at almost every restaurant we checked, even where opening times differed. A kitchen typically stops seating shortly before the posted close, so arriving at 9:45 PM on a Tuesday is cutting it fine.
Opening time is the bigger trap. Someone who shows up at noon on a Wednesday expecting lunch will find most restaurants still locked until 3 or 4 PM.
Texas Roadhouse Holiday Hours: Thanksgiving and Christmas
Texas Roadhouse does not publish a holiday schedule on its website, and none of the restaurant pages we read showed special hours for November or December 2026. News coverage in past years, including a 2024 report quoting the company's guest support line, said every restaurant closes on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. We could not confirm that from an official 2026 notice, so our holiday table lists both days as "check your restaurant".
Texas Roadhouse To-Go Orders and Online Waitlist Hours
Each location page on texasroadhouse.com has three buttons: Join Waitlist, Order To-Go and View Menu. To-go orders follow the restaurant's own hours, so a 3 PM weekday opening also means no to-go pickup at lunchtime at most locations.
The page also lists the restaurant's phone number and its managing partner, the operator who runs that restaurant. Texas Roadhouse locations in the US are mostly company-operated, but each managing partner runs their own restaurant's schedule within company guidelines, which is one reason opening times drift from one town to the next.
Texas Roadhouse Locations and the Original Clarksville Restaurant
Kent Taylor opened the first Texas Roadhouse in Clarksville, Indiana in 1993, according to the company's About Us page. That restaurant is still listed as location number 1 and keeps longer hours than most: 11 AM to 10 PM Monday to Thursday and 10:30 AM to 10 PM Friday through Sunday.
The company's August 2026 earnings release counted more than 830 restaurants system-wide across its brands, in 49 states, one US territory and ten foreign countries. International restaurants, such as those in Bahrain and Abu Dhabi, keep very different hours from US ones, often opening at 10 or 11 AM every day and staying open until midnight on their weekend nights.
