Nordstrom Rack Hours: Open & Close Times, Holiday & Sunday Hours by Location

Nordstrom Rack Hours Today: Store Hours by Location

Each Rack store has a page on stores.nordstromrack.com with a weekly table and a live line such as "Closed - Opens at 10:00 AM Wednesday". The table is the schedule to trust, because stores differ by a few hours.

Of the first 22 store pages we read for regular hours, most matched the 10-to-9 and 11-to-7 pattern shown above. The exceptions are mostly in smaller markets, where the weekday close drops to 8:00 PM.

Is Nordstrom Rack Open on Sunday and What Time Does It Close?

Yes at nearly every store we read, with a shorter day than the rest of the week. The usual Sunday is 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, but the closing time ranges from 5:00 PM at Holbrook, New York to 8:00 PM at Palm Desert, California, where the store also opens an hour earlier at 10:00 AM.

One store was listed as closed all day on Sunday: Paramus, New Jersey. If you plan to shop on a Sunday, look at the Sunday line before you drive, because that single row is where the stores differ most.

Is Nordstrom Rack Open on Thanksgiving and Black Friday?

Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2026, is closed. Of the 60 store pages we read, 17 listed that date, and all 17 marked it closed. Black Friday, November 27, is an early open at most of those stores: 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at seven of the 16 stores that listed it, with others opening at 8:00 AM or closing at 10:00 PM.

Stores that did not list Thanksgiving week did not show a special schedule, so the normal weekly table applies there. Look at the specific page rather than assuming it follows the table above.

Nordstrom Rack Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Late-Shopping Hours

Christmas Eve, Thursday, December 24, is a short day. Nine of the 17 stores that listed it show 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, five show 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and three close at 5:00 PM or 8:00 PM. Christmas Day, Friday, December 25, is closed at every one of the 17 stores that posted it.

The days before Christmas run longer than normal at many stores. On Friday, December 18 and Saturday, December 19, at least ten of the stores that listed those dates open at 9:00 AM and close at 9:00 PM, and a few stay open until 10:00 PM. From December 21 through December 23, the common pattern is 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with a handful opening at 8:00 AM or closing at 10:00 PM.

• Dec 24: most stores open 9 AM and close at 6 PM.
• Dec 25: closed at every store that listed the date.
• Dec 26: 9 AM to 9 PM at most stores that listed it, with a lighter Sunday on Dec 27 (usually 10 AM to 7 PM).
• Dec 30: 10 AM to 9 PM at three stores that listed it.

Nordstrom Rack New Year's Eve and New Year's Day Hours

New Year's Eve, Thursday, December 31, 2026, is the most uniform day on the calendar: 52 of the 53 stores that listed it close at 6:00 PM, opening at 10:00 AM, and the other lists an 8:00 PM close. New Year's Day, Friday, January 1, 2027, is also open at the stores that listed it, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at 32 stores and from 11:00 AM at three.

Nordstrom Rack Pickup, Returns and Store Services

The store pages carry a banner offering free same-day pickup at your favorite Rack, plus services listed lower down: Buy Online & Pick Up in Store, Free Ship to Store, and free online returns that can be dropped at a Rack or a Nordstrom store. Contactless payment, including tap-to-pay and digital wallets, is also listed.

These services follow the store's open hours, so a pickup order has to be collected before the store closes, and on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day the store is closed, so there is no counter service either.

How to Check Your Nordstrom Rack's Hours

Open stores.nordstromrack.com, choose a state and city, and pick your store. The page lists a weekly table, then a live status line, then the holiday list when the store has posted one. About 327 stores had pages in the directory when we counted.

• Compare the Sunday row first, since it varies the most.
• Check the date you plan to visit during holiday weeks, because some stores post a different table for each day.
• Remember that a few stores post nothing for holidays at all and follow their normal schedule.
