Sephora Hours: Open & Close Times, Sunday & Holiday Hours by Location

Sephora Hours Today: Standalone Stores

Sephora lists a weekly schedule on each store page under sephora.com/happening/stores, and the numbers depend on the mall or street the store sits in.

The Hackensack, New Jersey page listed 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Saturday and showed no Sunday hours at all, so a missing day on a store page is something to check with the store before you plan a Sunday trip.

Sephora at Kohl's Hours

Sephora also runs shops inside Kohl's, and the store list on sephora.com has a separate Sephora at Kohl's section with its own pages. The 12 we read matched the host store's hours rather than a mall pattern.

These shops open an hour earlier and stay open longer on Sunday than most standalone stores, so if the nearest Sephora is in a Kohl's, its schedule is the one to read.

Is Sephora Open on Sunday?

Yes at 22 of the 23 pages we read. Standalone stores opened between 10:00 AM and noon and closed between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM, except Times Square, which stayed open until 10:00 PM. The Kohl's shops ran 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM or 9:00 PM.

Sunday closing was earlier than the weekday close at every standalone store we read, by one to three hours.

Why Sephora Hours Differ From Store to Store

Sephora stores usually keep the mall's operating hours or follow the host retailer, which explains the spread. A store in a Manhattan shopping center opens at 9:00 AM, while a Chicago store on Michigan Avenue closes at 7:00 PM.

• Read the store page for your exact location, not a nearby store.
• Check whether your store is standalone or inside Kohl's, because the schedules follow different patterns.
• Look at the Sunday row separately, since it changes more than the weekday rows.

Where Sephora Stores Are Listed

The Complete Store List on sephora.com covers nearly every state, from Alaska and Hawaii to Maine and Puerto Rico. Manhattan alone has about 19 stores listed, with names such as Times Square, Flatiron, Union Square, Soho, Harlem, Meatpacking and World Trade Center, so a New York address needs the store name and not just the city.

California, Texas and Florida also have long lists, with several stores in Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, Austin, Miami and Orlando. The Sephora at Kohl's section reaches further, and it includes Vermont, West Virginia and Wyoming, which have no standalone Sephora store in the United States list.

Same Region, Different Hours

Two stores in the same region can post different weeks. In the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Dallas Galleria ran 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM with Sunday from noon to 6:00 PM, and the Presidio Towne Crossing store in Fort Worth ran the same weekdays but opened Sunday at 11:00 AM.

In the Seattle area, Southcenter closed at 9:00 PM Monday through Saturday and 7:00 PM on Sunday, while in Ohio the Easton Town Center store in Columbus closed at 9:00 PM and opened at noon on Sunday.

• Pick the store by its mall or street name, not just the city.
• Compare the Sunday row with the weekday rows before you plan a Sunday trip.
• Look for the Sephora at Kohl's listing if your nearest Kohl's is open earlier than the mall.

Sephora Holiday Hours: Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter

None of the 23 store pages we read showed a holiday date or closure. Because the stores follow mall or host-store calendars, holiday hours can differ from the weekly table and are not confirmed by these pages.

How to Find Your Sephora's Hours

The Complete Store List at sephora.com/happening/storelist is organized by state and city, with tabs for United States, Sephora at Kohl's and Canada. Pick your city and store name and the page opens with the address, phone number and weekly hours.

California, Texas, New York and Florida have the longest lists, with dozens of stores each, so look for the store name (a mall, a neighborhood or a street) rather than the city alone.

Each store page also gives the street address, for example 1535 Broadway for the Times Square store in New York and 13350 N Dallas Pkwy Ste 1250 for Dallas Galleria. Use the address to confirm you have the right store when a mall has more than one entrance.
