IKEA Hours: Open & Close Times, Sunday & Holiday Hours by Location

IKEA Store Hours Today: Opening and Closing Times by Store

Each IKEA store page on ikea.com lists hours for the store, the restaurant, the bistro, Småland and Click & Collect. We read three large stores on October 21, 2026.

Three stores, three different weeks. Brooklyn opens an hour later than the others on weekdays and Sunday. Burbank keeps the latest hours, staying open until 10:00 PM on Friday and Saturday. Houston follows a simple 10-to-9 pattern from Monday to Saturday and closes an hour earlier on Sunday.

IKEA Hours in Atlanta, Orlando, Chicago, New Jersey, Dallas and Phoenix

To see how wide the spread is, we read six more store pages on the same day.

Two patterns stand out. Most suburban stores, such as Schaumburg, Elizabeth and Frisco, run 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through Saturday and 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Sunday. Atlanta and Orlando instead keep one schedule all week, 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, so they open an hour later than most stores every morning.

IKEA Sunday Hours

Every IKEA store we checked is open on Sunday. The most common Sunday schedule is 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, used in Houston, Schaumburg, Elizabeth, Frisco and Tempe. Brooklyn opens at 11:00 AM and closes at 8:00 PM, Atlanta and Orlando keep their usual 11-to-8 hours, and Burbank stays open until 9:00 PM.

Because Sunday closing time is an hour earlier than the weekday close at most of these stores, plan a large Sunday pickup or a meal in the restaurant for earlier in the day.

IKEA Restaurant Hours and Breakfast

The restaurant closes about an hour before the store at all three locations. Burbank is the exception on the morning side: its restaurant opens at 9:30 AM, half an hour before the store, and serves breakfast every day until 11:00 AM.

The Swedish Bistro near the checkouts keeps longer hours than the restaurant. In Brooklyn it runs noon to 8:00 PM on weekdays, 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Saturday and 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Sunday; in Burbank and Houston it stays open until the store closes.

IKEA Småland Hours

Småland, the supervised play area for children, has the shortest hours in the building. In Houston it is open noon to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Saturday and 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Sunday. Brooklyn and Burbank tell visitors to check with the store for Småland hours, which can change.

IKEA Click & Collect Pickup Hours

At Brooklyn and Burbank, Click & Collect pickup follows store hours. Houston runs a separate curbside-only window: 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM Monday through Saturday and 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM on Sunday. That window opens an hour before the store, which helps if you want to collect a large order before the parking lot fills.

The three store pages do not list separate hours for returns. Returns are handled during store hours through an in-store kiosk or a digital queue.

IKEA Holiday Hours 2026: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve

IKEA's store pages already show the 2026 year-end schedule.

IKEA closes on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, and on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve it keeps its normal opening time but closes several hours early. Black Friday, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day and New Year's Day were not listed as exceptions, so the regular schedule should apply, but look at your store's page a few days ahead.

Full IKEA Stores, Small Stores and Plan & Order Points

IKEA's US store list has about 91 locations, but not all of them are the big blue warehouses. Roughly a dozen are labeled small stores, and about 31 are Plan & Order Points with pick-up, where you design a kitchen or room with a co-worker and collect orders rather than walk a full showroom.

Smaller formats can keep different hours, and not every one has a restaurant or Småland. Open the location's own page from the store list to see which services it has.

IKEA Customer Service Phone Number

The IKEA US Customer Support Center can be reached at 1-888-888-4532. For questions about a specific store, such as same-day stock or restaurant hours, the store's page on ikea.com is the faster route.
